Yet, you also get thoroughly modern features like a High Output Twin Cam 103B™ engine, hidden suspension and ABS brakes which make the Softail Slim motorcycle a modern classic.
The Softail Slim® model delivers a healthy balance of Harley-Davidson past and present. It merges raw, minimalistic 1940s bobber styling with up-to-date, old-school fat elements and contemporary power. Its blacked-out presence, retro features, and low-slung seat express that unmistakable old-iron attitude.

A rigid mounted engine and twin hidden rear shocks give Softail models the clean look of a vintage hardtail, while cutting-edge technology delivers the smooth ride and comfort expected from a modern Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The counter-balanced High Output Twin Cam 103B engine delivers pounding torque, and the 6-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission provides smooth delivery of power.
