We need to sell our Hunter 260 water ballast sailing yacht. She is absolutely immaculate for we have owned her since new.
Her main and head sail are original but in very good condition. Her number two head sail is excellent. She has a brand new A/S used just once.
She has a brand new, never used, spare mast and spreaders complete.
A spare brand new stove, hatch slide, window and many other new parts that we got in case but never used.
She sleeps four in absolute comfort. (Two double beds). In fact one of the double beds is almost King size. Two more can sleep either side of the table. (A family of seven have one of these yachts here in Albany and they all sleep onboard. )
She has a single burner stove, pressure water system, enclosed head (toilet) electric fridge and many other nice appointments including shore power.
The sound system is brilliant. TV with DVD player.

She has a tandem trailer in excellent condition. Always serviced annually.
It is easy to tow her even with a small SUV.
She sails extremely well.
The fantastic thing about her is that with the keel and rudder up she floats in as little as 18 inches of water.
She is powered by a Yamaha 8hp four stroke motor giving her a speed of 7-8kt depending on conditions. The motor has electric start, power lift and remote controls. She has a unique engine rudder connection when motoring meaning she can turn in her own length.
We have sailed her mostly in Albany since new although we have sailed her in Mandurah, Fremantle, Rottnest, Busselton on the inlet in Walpole. Even on Lake Dumblyung!!
In fact in Busselton she one races at the Geographe race week.
Hundreds of this model were built over many years by the Hunter Group in Florida USA. Although production stopped a few years ago they still remain one of the most sought after trailer sailor yachts in the world.
She was not used for quite some time during the period that I skippered a 85' open maxi racing yacht around the world.
We can deliver her anywhere in Australia!
This is a true sailing vessel not like a McGregor that is a compromise!!
There is a genuine reason for selling her and that is because we have a larger yacht that is taking up all of our time with charters and we simply don't get the chance to sail her anymore.
